Puppy chow snack treats

The toddler snack:
A chocolaty-peanut buttery mix coats cereal, before it's covered in confectioner's sugar. What are you waiting for? Go make this!

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 8 cups Crispix or similar cereal
  • 2 cups confectioners or powdered sugar

Preparation:
In large saucepan, melt peanut butter, chocolate chips and butter. Put cereal in a large bowl and mix in pour peanut butter mixture. Put powdered sugar into a large paper bag, and pour cereal mixture in. Shake bag until cereal is evenly coated.

Make it special:
Let your toddler pretend they are a puppy and have them eat from a bowl placed on the floor. Safety pin a small tail onto the back of your tot's pants!
