Graham cracker snacks

The toddler snack:
A variety of toppings for a graham cracker makes this snack interesting and new for your toddler.

Ingredients:

  • graham crackers (honey or cinnamon)
  • peanut butter or cream cheese
  • chocolate chips
  • raisins
  • sunflower seeds
  • dried cranberries
  • gummy bears
  • chocolate or caramel sauce
  • hard ice cream
  • cereal
  • peanuts
  • mini-marshmallows, preferably colored ones.
  • cinnamon

Preparation:
Spread a graham cracker with peanut butter or cream cheese. Choose from any of the toppings, and have your child decorate his or her own graham cracker.

Make it special:
If there is more than one child eating, have each decorate their own graham cracker to be judged. When it comes time to announce the winner, have separate winners for each of many categories, so no one is left out. For example, award for creativity, neatness and taste. YeahBaby.com thoughts:
Heat this snack up in a microwave oven or a convection oven, especially when including mini-marshmallows.
