Delicious spiced nuts

The toddler snack:
These delicious spiced nuts are very easy to make at home, and your toddler can help with preparation. Use your favorite nuts.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of nuts, your choice (Peanuts, pecans, walnuts or almonds)
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp real vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Preparation:
Combine butter, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon in a heavy sauce pan. Cook just until the sugar melts, and then add nuts. Spread the nuts into a jelly roll pan and bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes.

Make it special:
After the nuts are prepared, put them into small containers or bags. Then take these treats with you to the supermarket, playground or wherever and and enjoy them your little one.
