Banana bites

The toddler snack:
Mashed bananas are the base of this fruit treat. Walnuts, cinnamon and sugar join in to make this tasty treat.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup walnut pieces
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 table spoon sugar

Preparation:
Have your toddler mash the bananas. Add walnut pieces, cinnamon and sugar. Roll your mixture into balls and you are ready to eat!

If the mixture is too moist, add a bit of wheat germ or oatmeal to dry your banana batter.

Make it special:
Eat your concoction while watching an episode of the children's show 'Bananas in Pajamas.' Really get into the mood and wear pajamas while eating these treats!
