Creating candy art

Art that tastes good - what could be better? Kids will love this low-prep art project.

The kid activity:
This project requires a variety of colored candy pieces. M&Ms, dots, jelly beans and candy corn will be perfect. You'll also need a plastic photo frame - the box kind which has a small space between the glass and the matting. Place the candy pieces in the bottom of the photo box frame. Design shapes and pictures by using different pieces of candy. Once completed, simply reattach the photo box pieces together. The candy pieces will stay put as long as the frame is completely filled!

Variations:
A glass vase also works nicely for this project. But it'll be much harder keeping those little fingers from consuming this edible art.

YeahBaby.com thoughts:
Be sure to display the frame out of your kid's reach. If you don't, it won't be art - it'll be eaten!
