Here's an activity where brothers and sisters can easily join in. But let them in on the secret - the 'Peek a Boo' game is a great learning activity for little ones.
Toddler activity:
Hide your face behind your hands or a sheet of paper. Ask your toddler "where's [mommy or daddy]?" Then take your hands away and say "Peek-a-Boo!" Place your toddler's favorite toy under a laundry basket and ask the same question. Reveal the toy and say "Peek a Boo." And while washing your toddler, hide your toddlers face behind a washcloth. Peek a Boo!
Show your toddler you're totally interested in this game. Keep your eyes wide open, smile look surprised and talk excitedly. Peek a Boo will definitely get your toddler excited and laughing.
Variations:
Play 'Peek a Boo' with a rattle or other noisemaker. Hold the toy off to the side of your toddler and shake it until it gets their attention. Rattle your noisemaker until your little one understands where the noise comes from.
